The RUK-P is a simplified version of it’s predecessor the RUK. It keeps the basics of the one handed blade deployment but comes in at a most affordable price for everyone that doesn’t want to break the bank.
• Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon
• Solid 0ne piece design
I carry a knife on me every day and I had noticed I mainly use it for small things like opening boxes and such. I rarely use the entire edge of a blade and that is why I decided to design and build the RUK and now the RUK-P!
The RUK-P is a pocket size utility knife that uses standard utility blades and can be controlled all by one hand. It has a simple design to extend and retract the blade “Patented:10,919,164” like you would with a sliding USB Flash drive but also locks in both the retracted and extended positions.
The body of the RUK-P is made out of the high strength fiberglass filled nylon. It is so slim and light you can’t even tell it is in your pocket!

I own both this and the Gil-Tek RUK-S. I gotta say, this plastic version is well worth the purchase! The action is very smooth and the lightweight body makes it feel almost non existent in your pocket. I will definitely be picking up a couple more to keep in my toolbox!
